Made at Gleamy Space, a woodworking studio in Wonju. Each box is turned by hand from solid oak, with the acorn knob turned from walnut, and finished in wax oil.
A small lidded box topped with a hand-turned walnut acorn for a pull. The oak runs dense and tightly grained against the darker acorn; the lid rests with a little play rather than sealing tight, because solid wood swells and shrinks with the season, and that movement is built in on purpose.
The interior measures about 11cm across and 3.5cm deep, sized for rings, hairpins, a watch, the small things that otherwise wander a desk or a nightstand.
This is a handmade, made-to-order piece, turned after you order and shipped within ten business days. Because each one is worked by hand, the exact form, grain, and size vary slightly from box to box; that variation is the object, not a flaw.

- Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth; avoid soaking or prolonged water. Re-oil occasionally to keep the grain fed. It is natural wood, so keep it out of direct heat and long sun.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
