A heart pressed into white porcelain, shallow, with the rim fluted the whole way around so the edge ripples rather than runs flat. 148mm across and only 15mm deep, which keeps it closer to a side dish than a bowl. Clear gloss glaze over baekja, fired at 1,250°C. Each one is hand-formed and hand-glazed, so no two are identical: the flutes fall at slightly different intervals, and small marks come with the material — a stray iron speck from the clay, a pinhole or fine bump in the surface, a trace where the glaze ran a little thicker, slight differences in tone and gloss between plates. Mujagi counts these as the material, not as faults.

Sized for the small end of a meal: two or three pieces of fruit, a few sweets with tea, one banchan, a scoop of nuts. The well is only 15mm deep, so it takes dry things and things in their own juice, not soup or broth. It works as easily away from the table — rings and earrings at the bedside, a bar of soap by the sink. Arrives in Mujagi's printed gift box.

CARE
Hand-wash and dry it soon after use; don't leave it soaking, and skip abrasive scourers. No oven — warming food through is fine, but not long cooking at high heat. Mujagi recommends wood, brass or silicone cutlery; stainless can leave grey marks on the glaze that ordinary washing won't lift. Porcelain chips, so mind the fluted rim.

Things people ask

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?

No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.

How long until it arrives?

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.

What's your return policy?

Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.

What if it arrives damaged?

That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.

How does store credit work?

Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
