This plate takes the shape of a heart pressed into white porcelain, shallow, with the rim fluted the whole way around so the edge ripples rather than runs flat. A clear gloss glaze goes over the baekja (백자), fired at 1,250°C. It stays closer to a side dish than a bowl.
Suitable for the small end of a meal: two or three pieces of fruit, or one banchan (반찬). The well is only fifteen millimeters deep. It takes dry things and things in their own juice, not soup or broth. It works as easily away from the table: rings and earrings at the bedside, a bar of soap by the sink. It arrives in Mujagi's printed gift box.
Each plate is hand-formed and hand-glazed, so no two are identical. The flutes fall at slightly different intervals, and small marks come with the clay: an iron speck, a trace where the glaze ran thicker. Mujagi counts those as the material, not as faults.

- Hand-wash and dry it soon after use; don't leave it soaking, and skip abrasive scourers. No oven — warming food through is fine, but not long cooking at high heat. Mujagi recommends wood, brass or silicone cutlery; stainless can leave grey marks on the glaze that ordinary washing won't lift. Porcelain chips, so mind the fluted rim.

What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind. Import duties paid at checkout and shipping are not refunded on returns.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
