A single soy-wax ornament takes the shape of myeongtae (명태), the Alaska pollack hung near Korean entryways as a household charm against misfortune and a wish for a peaceful home. At twelve point three centimeters long, it fits in the palm. Choose from six colors (Mint green, Pink, Vintage blue, Ivory, Gray, and Black).
Cotton thread wraps the middle beneath a small paper band printed with the wish, 'may good things always fill your days.' A small face marks the head. Hung from a door handle or small hook, the wax stays soft to the touch while the fragrance fades slowly over months indoors. hap describes the scent as 'the warmth of being tucked into a thick blanket.' The painted features can wear with friction.

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Need it sooner? DHL Express (2 to 4 business days in transit) is available at checkout for $85. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind. Import duties paid at checkout and shipping are not refunded on returns.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
