The plate sits low and flat in baekja (백자), the Korean white porcelain, cut with four straight sides and a rim raised just enough to read as an edge. The corners are the design: the rim folds back on itself in a small stepped return. It has been in the line since 2019.

Small is nine centimeters across, sized for a slice of cake or a pair of chopsticks laid across it. On the medium a slice of toast lies flat, with room beside it for jam. Large is a rectangle rather than a square, wide enough for a sandwich and a mug together.

The two finishes are a choice, not a grade. Matte is the plainer and more modern. Gloss is a clear glaze with a faint blue-white cast, slightly cooler and brighter. Mujagi presses and finishes each one by hand in Icheon, the ceramics town southeast of Seoul, which is why the large size runs three to four weeks between batches.

MATERIAL
White porcelain (baekja), matte or clear blue-white gloss glaze
DIMENSIONS
Small 90 × 90mm · H 10mm · 70g / Medium 145 × 145mm · H 12mm · 171g / Large 260 × 215mm · H 14mm · 632g

One square plate in the size and finish you choose
CARE
Both finishes are microwave and dishwasher safe. Do not put either in the oven. Stainless cutlery can leave grey marks on the matte surface, so wood, brass, or silicone is the safer pairing; strongly coloured food may also stain a matte glaze over time.
