Poh is a nautilus shell cut out of a rug. The outline is the shell, a wide chambered whorl opening from a small notched hinge, so it sits on the floor as an object rather than a mat. The name is po (包), to wrap or hold. The ribs fanning across the shell aren't printed. They're tufted in loop pile against the cut-pile ground, sunk lower than the shaggy cut pile around them, so they read as carved channels when light moves across. The yarn is BCF nylon, frieze-twisted so the pile springs back instead of crushing, and KC safety-certified. Lug Lug hand-coats the back, then shaves the surface level and trims it with scissors by hand after the machine pass.
Made to order. Each Poh is tufted once the order comes in, about seven working days in the studio before it ships. Soodam keeps a small number on hand; past those, the production time is added to transit. Because it is cut and finished by hand, the loop lines vary slightly between pieces and the edge can run 1–2 cm off the stated size.
It measures 42 × 68 cm at the widest points, spot-rug scale: beside a bed, in front of a sink, under a desk chair, at the entry. Beige reads as a warm ivory with a yellow cast rather than a true beige; gray is the cooler of the two, a soft greige where the ribs show more sharply. BCF nylon sheds far less than a natural fibre and stands back up under weight, so the pile still holds after a season of being walked on.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
