From Mujagi, a porcelain studio in Icheon, the ceramic-making town an hour southeast of Seoul. They work in baekja (백자), the Korean white porcelain, starting from a high-purity clay body that's filtered clean of impurities and hand-formed in the studio. Each piece is fired twice: a bisque at 900°C, then a glaze firing at 1,250°C or above.
