The plate belongs to Hin, NR Ceramics' tableware line, named for an ancient Hebrew word that meant both a jar and a unit of liquid measure. The forms carry that idea as liquid-like, continuously flowing lines — soft, asymmetrical curves rather than true circles.
The leaf plate is a long, shallow dish whose rim rises and dips in soft waves, so it reads less like a plate than like a single line of water set down on the table. It's hand-formed in stoneware under a matte glaze; the brown iron in the clay surfaces as fine specks, and no two pieces wave quite the same way.
At 22 × 9.5cm it holds a few small sweets beside a cup of tea, though the curved well takes a couple of rings, a stick of incense, or the odds that gather on a tray just as easily. Microwave and dishwasher safe; keep it off open flame and out of the oven, and rinse colored liquids promptly so they don't settle into the glaze.
Comes in three colorways — Stone white, Soil beige, and Brown. Each is finished by hand, so glaze depth, color, and the exact line of the waves shift slightly from piece to piece.

- Microwave and dishwasher safe; keep away from open flame and the oven. Rinse promptly after use and don't leave colored liquids standing, as they can stain the glaze over time. Use a soft sponge rather than an abrasive scrubber or metal scourer.

No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
