edit no. 06august 2026
Six petals press outward from a flat round of baekja (백자), Korean white porcelain, lifting just enough to frame what sits on the plate. About twelve and a half centimeters across. Mujagi makes it in two finishes: a matte with a soft, close sheen (not chalky), and a clear gloss that pulls toward celadon.
A dessert-and-fruit plate more than a dinner plate. Suitable for a slice of cake, or a small tart with room left around it. The matte holds its finish and resists small scratches.
Mujagi hand-forms each plate, so the petal edges sit a little differently from one to the next.
