A wine stopper in cast zinc alloy, colored in enamel and shaped as a Joseon jar the size of a thumb. Two designs. The green one is cheongja (청자), Goryeo celadon, carrying unhakmun, cranes flying between clouds inside white roundels. The white one is cheonghwa baekja (청화백자), blue-and-white porcelain, with plum and bamboo drawn in cobalt, a flower that opens in the cold and a stem that stays green and straight through it. Mimidar raises every outline in bare metal between the enamel fields, so each line sits proud of the color.
Everything above the plug is solid metal, and the weight helps hold the seal. The silicone below steps down through five ridges and closes bottle mouths from sixteen to twenty millimeters, so whisky and oil bottles keep under it as well as wine.
Mimidar tested the plug against more than a hundred glass bottles before fixing the design, and the stopper took the 2025 Presidential Award at Korea's tourism souvenir competition. It ships standing in a wooden case built as the throne room at Gyeongbokgung, shrunk, its kkotsalmun lattice doors shutting on magnets.

- CARE
- Before first use, separate the metal from the silicone plug, wash the plug only, and dry both with a cloth. To remove the stopper from a bottle, wobble it gently and lift straight up rather than levering it sideways, which can pull the metal off the silicone. Metal dislikes moisture and oil: wipe it dry as soon as either touches it, and wipe it down with a dry cloth before long storage. If the head turns, twist it back the opposite way to seat it; the upper and lower metal parts are assembled, so they can loosen and be re-tightened by hand. The silicone can take on color after long exposure to dark drinks, though its dark tile color keeps that from showing. Deliberate scuffs and shading are part of the antique finish; the enamel and metal can carry faint scratches, pinholes or dust from casting; the assembly has slight play that varies piece to piece; and enamel and metal tone can differ slightly between production runs. None of these are faults. Assembled by hand, so dimensions and weight vary slightly.

What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind. Import duties paid at checkout and shipping are not refunded on returns.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
