Two shallow plates place a full moon draped in cloud near one edge, carved in the Korean relief technique eumyanggak (음양각). Choose a matched pair in glossy white or semi-matte white with brown iron-oxide dots; the mixed set combines one of each.
The patented design turns the moon into a shallow sauce well. Pour in soy sauce or vinegar, and the dark liquid settles into the recessed cloud while the raised moon surfaces through it. The moon appears. Each plate holds its own dipping sauce beside sushi or sashimi. The porcelain is fired at 1,250°C and KICET-certified cadmium- and lead-free in both clay and glaze.
Each plate is hand-formed and hand-glazed, so pinholes and glaze drips may appear. Glazing-tong marks may show too, while dot pattern and sheen differ between pieces.

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Need it sooner? DHL Express (2 to 4 business days in transit) is available at checkout for $85. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind. Import duties paid at checkout and shipping are not refunded on returns.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
