The cup belongs to Hin, NR Ceramics' tableware line, named for an old Hebrew word that meant both a jar and a unit of liquid measure. The forms follow that idea as continuous, liquid-like lines: soft asymmetrical curves rather than true circles. It comes in two sizes and three matte glazes over an iron-bearing clay body: Stone White, Soil Beige, and Brown.
The small cup holds about 100ml, an espresso or a short pour of tea, and sits easily in one hand. The medium holds about 220ml, a full everyday cup. Both keep the same low, gently waisted body; only the scale changes.
Microwave and dishwasher safe; keep them away from open flame and the oven, and don't leave colored liquids standing in the cup. Every piece is shaped by hand, one at a time, so no two come out identical: small differences in glaze depth, color, and form, brown and black iron flecks from the clay, faint bubble marks from the firing, and kiln marks on the unglazed base. These are characteristics of handmade ceramics, not flaws.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
