The Blooming plates come in two shapes. The round is 26cm across, with deep convex petal-curves running from rim to center and a gently dished well at the middle — sized as a main plate at the table. The oval is 218 × 145mm, shallower, with the same petal silhouette and a feature Insoil calls 2-way: both faces are finished, so you can turn the plate over and use either side. Both are high-fired porcelain (1250°C) in the studio's semi-matte white glaze with hand-scattered iron-oxide dots.
The round works as a main plate — a full meal, a small platter to share, a piece of cake at the center of the table — and the dished well holds sauce or a thin broth without running. The oval is sized for brunch, dessert, or a single salad alongside something else. Both are microwave- and dishwasher-safe; use wood or bamboo cutlery rather than metal to keep the matte glaze unscratched.
Each plate is hand-formed and hand-glazed. Surfaces carry pinholes from escaping kiln gases, occasional glaze drip lines and pooling at the rim, glazing-tong marks, and varying dot pattern, sheen, and texture between plates.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
