The Blooming plate comes in two shapes. The round measures twenty-six centimeters across, with deep convex petal curves running from rim to center and a gently dished well. The oval is shallower and carries the same petal silhouette.
Both shapes use porcelain high-fired at 1250°C, finished in a semi-matte white glaze with hand-scattered iron-oxide dots. The round holds a main course, while its central well keeps sauce or a thin broth from running. Insoil calls the oval 2-way: both faces are finished, so either side can be used.
Insoil hand-forms and hand-glazes each plate. Pinholes from escaping kiln gases and occasional glaze drip lines remain visible. Pooling at the rim and glazing-tong marks may also appear. Dot patterns vary between plates. So do sheen and texture.

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Need it sooner? DHL Express (2 to 4 business days in transit) is available at checkout for $85. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind. Import duties paid at checkout and shipping are not refunded on returns.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
