A ceramic mug with a cinched waist, slip-cast in South Korea from iron-flecked clay and finished matte. The curve through the middle is functional as much as formal: it gives the hand a natural place to close around the cup.
It comes in three muted tones. Salty cream is the lightest, a warm off-white where the iron speckle shows most. Vanilla beige is a creamier yellow, a shade warmer and softer. Mocha black is a deep, cool brown that reads almost black, where the speckle nearly disappears. The clay stays lightly speckled across all three, so flecks of iron surface through the glaze, and the matte finish keeps each color quiet on a table.
Holds 250ml, the size of a full coffee or a generous tea. The mouth is wide and the interior smooth, so it rinses clean. Microwave and dishwasher safe; hand wash with a soft cloth to keep the matte surface even, and keep it out of the oven.
Because each cup is slip-cast and finished by hand, small differences are normal: faint mold seams, a slightly oval rim, the odd iron speck or pinhole in the glaze. None of it affects use.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
