Six pairs of dotted socks, three in each of two boxes, knitted from combed cotton and cut to sit just under the calf. Combed cotton is spun from fibre that has been combed first to pull out the short strands and debris, which leaves a longer, more even yarn that sheds and pills less than standard cotton. The dots are knitted into the fabric rather than printed onto it, so the pattern sits flush with the surface and stretches with the sock instead of stiffening where it lands. Each box holds one dot scale in three colors, and the scale changes the register entirely: small dots read as texture from across a room, middle dots as pattern, big dots as the loudest thing you are wearing. The two boxes are chosen separately, so they can run the same scale in different colors or two scales at once.

Unisex, one size, knitted to fit a 235–265mm foot, roughly US women's 6–10.5 or men's 4.5–9. Laid flat, the sock measures 24.5cm from the top of the cuff to the heel, 19.5cm along the foot and 8.5cm across the leg, and length runs slightly differently between colors. The elastic band at the top is deliberately kept short and left plain, with no dots on it, so a day's wear doesn't press a deep ring into the leg. The sock lands high enough that the dots show when you sit and disappear under a trouser hem when you stand. Fibre content shifts slightly with the dot size, since a bigger dot carries more colored yarn.

Each box is the gift packaging: a white sleeve with a die-cut window in the lid, the three pairs folded so their colors show through it. Two boxes arrive, so one can be given away without breaking up the other. Nothing is pinned or tagged into the knit, so it opens without scissors.

CARE
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag, with a neutral detergent. Do not boil-wash, do not tumble dry, and do not use chlorine bleach. Air dry out of direct sun, since the elastic at the cuff discolors in prolonged sunlight. Cotton wears at friction points, so the knit can eventually open with heavy use.

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.

What's your return policy?

Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.

What if it arrives damaged?

That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
