A palm-sized pollack sewn in soft velboa, shaped after myeongtae (명태), the Alaska pollack. The form comes from a long-standing Korean practice of hanging a dried pollack at the entryway as a household charm against misfortune, often given at housewarmings and tied to wishes for a peaceful home. Here the dried fish becomes a plush one: a face embroidered at the head, a length of cotton cord wrapped around the middle and finished in a tassel. The face is stitched on both sides, so it reads from either direction. In three colors — Oatmeal, Black, and Sky.
Hangs from a door handle, a doorframe, or a rearview mirror. Unlike the soy-wax pollack, it won’t soften or melt, so it holds up in a parked car through summer. Wipe it clean; keep it away from open flame.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
