Eight faces and a deep lid come off the printer in layers of plant-based PLA, sixteen centimeters across. The form is the palgakham (팔각함), the octagonal box Joseon households kept hats and other valuables in. Raised studs run in a line around the rim of the lid and repeat near the foot of the body, and the print leaves a fine granular texture across the surface. The lid caps deep over the body, so the closed box stands taller than the base alone.
Black and Ivory stay opaque. Clear comes out a frosted milky white and Jade a soft mint, both translucent enough that what is inside shows faintly through the wall.
Nothing gets printed until the order is placed, which takes about five to ten days before it ships. Seam marks, stray filament threads and small dark specks come with printing rather than against it. We carry this form in one smaller proportion as well.

- Wipe with cold water and dry. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Not intended for food or drink. Seam lines, fine filament threads and small dark specks are normal to 3D printing and are not defects.

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Need it sooner? DHL Express (2 to 4 business days in transit) is available at checkout for $85. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind. Import duties paid at checkout and shipping are not refunded on returns.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
