Two mandarin ducks — wonang (원앙), the bird Koreans give in pairs at a wedding — cast as candles for LOFA Seoul's collaboration with the illustrator KIMI, whose drawing also wraps the box. Each candle is hand-painted: a colored cap, a yellow bill, a black tail, one red side and one blue, set so the pair faces inward as a couple. Because the painting is done by hand, the blocks of color sit a little differently on every duck.
Each duck is 11 × 8cm and 90g, scented with freesia — soft and clean, nearer soap than flower. They arrive in a house-shaped box printed with KIMI's drawing, finished for giving.
Burn them or keep them as objects. Displayed, keep them out of direct heat and sun so the wax holds its shape; the hand-painted areas — head, wing, tail — may chip a little with handling.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
