Hin takes its name from an old Hebrew word for a jug, and for a measure of liquid. It is NR Ceramics' collection of tableware drawn in flowing, liquid-like lines: asymmetrical curves that overlap rather than repeat, so a form made for food keeps the feel of something poured.
The Hin pasta bowl is wide and shallow, with a softly asymmetrical rim that never quite closes into a circle. Each one is thrown and glazed by hand in a soft matte finish, so the curve and the depth of color shift a little from bowl to bowl.
About 25.5cm across and 7cm deep, a wide shallow well that gives a main course room to be plated, pasta or otherwise. It has real weight to it, a substantial piece rather than a light everyday bowl. Three colorways: stone white, soil beige, and a deep brown. Dishwasher and microwave safe; keep it away from the oven and open flame.
Specks of iron oxide and small marks on the unglazed base come from the firing and vary from bowl to bowl. They are a characteristic of how these are made, not a defect.

- Dishwasher and microwave safe. Avoid the oven and open flame, which can crack the glaze. Don't leave it soaking in colored liquids; rinse soon after use. Clean with soft tools only, since metal scrubbers will scratch.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
