This is the line set for two: two mugs in red and blue, two scalloped side plates, and two mini bowls, all in white fine bone china with hand-painted roses and green sprigs. The red and blue mugs settle whose is whose; the 17.2cm plates take a slice of cake or a round of banchan; the bowls hold a dip, a few berries, the rice.
Fine Rose is Hankook's collaboration with Sienne, a Seoul fashion label. It takes the imperial rose — the 1968 pattern that made Hankook's name — and reworks it in the vintage, romantic mood Sienne is known for.
Each piece is hand-painted, so the roses vary from one to the next. Brush marks, a little pooling in the glaze, and the occasional dark fleck — iron in the clay surfacing during firing — are part of how it's made, not flaws.
Like the rest of the Fine Rose line, every piece is tested lead- and cadmium-free by KICET, the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology. Mugs and bowls are microwave-safe; hand-wash everything to protect the painting.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). All applicable duties and taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. DHL Express is 1 to 5 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; duties and the $40 shipping fee (on orders under $250) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
