Hankook Chinaware한국도자기

Cheongju, Korea · Since 1943

Hankook Chinaware has made porcelain in Cheongju since 1943 — Korea's oldest porcelain house, and the one that made the country's first bone china, in 1974. It still runs every stage of production in-house at that same Cheongju factory, the only Korean maker that does. Its tableware is used by the Korean presidential residence and embassies abroad, and has been chosen for the British royal household, the White House, and a Dubai royal wedding.
