From Dinotaeng, a character studio in Seoul that describes its work as passing on the small stories found inside a doodle. Everything they make comes out of Marshville, an invented town, and the friends who live in it: Quokka the clumsy optimist, Bobo the newcomer, Hatty who keeps something hidden under a tall pointed hat, and a dozen others with fixed habits of their own. The studio draws them first, then builds the town outward into objects: figures and toys, keyrings, phone and car accessories, stationery, umbrellas, lighting. What is printed or molded on a Dinotaeng product is usually a scene from that world rather than a logo.
