Each spoon is cut from jagae (자개), mother-of-pearl, the iridescent inner layer of shell and the same material used in najeon, the Korean craft of inlaying mother-of-pearl into lacquer. The pattern marbles naturally through the bowl and handle, so the swirl falls differently on each one.
At twelve centimeters long, it suits caviar, yogurt, jam, or dessert. Mother-of-pearl does not oxidize, so it carries delicate food without adding a metallic note. This is the white colorway.
NR Ceramics finishes each spoon by hand. Small variations in pattern, color, size, and surface come with the material. Sold in sets of two or four.

- Hand-wash with a soft, non-metal sponge or cloth — metal scourers will scratch it. Don't leave it soaking; dry it right after washing and store it somewhere ventilated. Keep it away from the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and open flame, and protect it from hard knocks.

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Need it sooner? DHL Express (2 to 4 business days in transit) is available at checkout for $85. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind. Import duties paid at checkout and shipping are not refunded on returns.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
