NR Ceramics' HIN line takes its name from an old Hebrew measure for liquid, and the pieces follow the idea literally — tableware drawn in one fluid, slightly off-balance line, as if each form were poured rather than built.

The set pairs two small tea cups with two leaf-shaped plates — each plate long and shallow, shaped to hold a small sweet beside the tea. Cups and plates share the same off-axis line, so no two pieces sit quite square to one another.

Each cup holds about 100ml, closer to an espresso cup than a mug — sized for tea taken slowly. Dishwasher- and microwave-safe; wash soon after use so colored teas don't stain, and keep metal scourers off the glaze.

Owners also use the leaf plate as a small tray — for rings and earrings by the sink or the bedside, not just for sweets.

Comes in three colorways: stone white, soil beige, and brown. Each piece is hand-formed from an iron-bearing clay, so it carries the marks of its making — faint brown or black specks where the iron comes through, the odd pinhole left by a glaze bubble, and some scorch on the unglazed foot. These are part of the material, not flaws.

Things people ask

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?

No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.

How long until it arrives?

We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.

What's your return policy?

Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.

What if it arrives damaged?

That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.

How does store credit work?

Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
