A lidded oval box sewn in padded black nylon, after the oval Shaker box — the plain, functional storage form from 19th-century America made on the principle that nothing unnecessary gets built. life&COLLECT carries that spirit into soft goods: each box is sewn by hand, quilted panel by panel, with an inner reinforcement that keeps the walls in a clean oval under the puffed outer fabric.
Cloud-soft to the touch but structured inside. A short laced panel with gold studs runs down one side, the single detail on an otherwise matte black surface. The lid is its own padded oval; it rests on top rather than latching, so it lifts off in one motion. The small size works as a bedside or coffee-table catch-all for remotes, hand cream, the stray earring; the large takes folded scarves, soft toys, or whatever migrates across a side table. Black shows lint sooner than lighter fabric, but it brushes off or wipes clean with a damp cloth.
Because each box is hand-stitched, no two are exactly alike. The silhouette, the give of the padding, and the set of the lid vary a little from piece to piece, and the fabric body flexes with what is inside. None of this is a flaw; it is a hand-sewn fabric object doing what fabric does. Spot-clean only: a little neutral detergent on the soiled area in cool water under 30°C, never a full wash.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. Every order ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — all customs duties and import taxes are built into the product price, so your parcel arrives with nothing more to pay.
How long until it arrives?
We need 1 to 5 business days to confirm with the studio and prepare your order. Korea Post EMS is 3 to 7 business days in transit. Made-to-order pieces take 5 to 10 business days to prepare; we note this on the product page.
What's your return policy?
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. Email contact@shopsoodam.com for a return authorization first. Buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind; customs duties and the $25 shipping fee (on orders under $150) are non-refundable.
What if it arrives damaged?
That's on us. Email contact@shopsoodam.com within 7 days with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Within 1 hour of ordering, yes. After that we'll try, but we forward orders to studios in Korea within 24 hours, so it depends on whether preparation has started. Email contact@shopsoodam.com right away.
How does store credit work?
Every order earns 5% of the subtotal back as store credit, added to your account once your order ships. It applies automatically at checkout and stays valid for 6 months.
